A bubbly song ...

No desperate call from the Acc Dept today. Ahh, finally, they get my message crystal clear. Now that I’m done re-arranging, tidying-up old files and entering new data into the system, I can relax a bit. :)

You have already heard this song numerous times but I’ll share it anyway. I’m no big fan of Michael Buble but I love this upbeat number. A bubbly (no pun intended) song like this will cheer up anyone having sour mood. :) Oh, love the video too. Enjoy!

21 guns

It was a hectic day in the office yesterday. A colleague’s mistake had led one customer to lodge a complaint to the top ppl. Not long after that…. drama unfold…a lot of blaming happen, denial here and there. *sigh* Better not talk about it and spoil my mood today. :) Hopefully, all of us in the office learned something from the incident and won’t repeat the same stupid mistake.

Today is a new day. So, here I am listening to this new hit, 21 Guns from Green Day while doing my work. In the meantime, sempat juga post this entry..hahaha. I love this song. Its from their latest album 21st Century Breakdown. I’m not really a fan of the band but more of a fan of their songs. Not all but some. Songs that are not too loud for eardrum. Confuse? Never mind, just layan this song la. :)

SOS! I'm in hot soup....

I’m in trouble. I made a promise last year. *sigh * Now, I am not too sure if I can keep it. Been procrastinating for a while to buy me some time. But now, the person whom I promised is demanding it ASAP. No more compromise! :(

I promised hubby that I would buy him the same Jay Chou CD to replace the one that I’ve ruined *sigh*. It all happened on one sunny day. I left the CD lying on the car dashboard while the car was parked under the blazing sun. You probably can imagine what happened to the CD. The inner side of it, at the middle was melted. The entire inner surface was dotted with some sticky stuff from the anti-slip mat. Hmm, I got an earful from hubby dearest for my stupid mistake. However, am not complaining about that. It was MY mistake after all. When hubby demanded that I buy him a similar album, I agreed instantly. It was his favourite CD.

After months looking for it in the record shops, I still cannot find one. L It was an old album actually. The songs are very good too, especially Bu Neng Shuo De Mi Mi (Secret I Can’t Tell) and Cai Hong (Rainbow). I tried to bargain with hubby. (Minta kesian la bah kunun..hehe..) I offered to buy him a new album that contained these two songs but minus the others. The reply I got was “ NO! “. He wanted all 19 songs. * faint*

I haven’t give-up hope completely. I can download them from the Internet. But the biggest problem is I hardly can read the Chinese characters. I haven’t read a thing in Chinese since Primary Six. Whoa, that was 18 years ago. How am I going to search them if I can’t even read the songs title??! Aduss…die la like this!

I’ve cracked my brain trying to decipher the titles. Out of 19 songs, I’ve managed to get 8 of them. Not bad juga la kan…hehe… The clock is ticking and I’m stuck. Can’t go any further. That leaves me with the last option.

I need to find somebody who can read Chinese. During the CNY, I was supposed to meet-up with my BFF who happen to be a Chinese, but due to each other’s busy schedule, we couldn’t make it. Now she already flew back to KL. *sigh * I don’t have many close friend who are Chinese literate. Sure, I’m still in touch with my old primary classmates, but they are in the same category as me, barely knows any Chinese characters. I tried asking help from one colleague but she was a bit reluctant. Can’t blame her though, with all the account works she need to look at, she simply doesn’t have the time to give attention to small things like this. Mana ada masa mo layan benda remeh-temeh macam ni kan…Eventually, I need to find someone else to help. But I haven’t found that someone yet. * sigh *

Christmas carol 2008...

This was e-mailed by a friend. Hmm..what do you think? Its a reminder for us to spend our money wisely, cut-off our spending on unnecessary things and save some for emergency use.
[Sing to the music of Santa Claus is coming to town.]

You'd better watch out
You'd better not cry
You'd better keep cash
I'm telling you why:
Recession is coming to town.

It's hitting you once,
It's hitting you twice
It doesn't care if you've been careful and wi se
Recession is coming to town

It's worthless if you've got shares
It's worthless if you've got bonds
It's safe when you've got cash in hand
So keep cash for goodness sake, HEY

You'd better watch out
You'd better not cry
You'd better keep cash
I'm telling you why:
Recession is coming to town!

Finance products are confusing
Finance products are so vague
The banks make you bear the cost of risk
So keep out for goodness sake, OH

You'd better watch out
You'd better not cry
You'd better keep cash
I'm telling you why:
Recession is coming to town.

Monday ,free and easy…

It’s been raining on and off outside. Now, it’s sunny pulak. Ah…the unpredictable weather. It’s damn cold in the office and not much to do. Yup, you read it right. It’s Monday and not much to do! It’s one of the free and easy Monday that comes only once in a blue moon… *grin* Must be my lucky day!

Started my reading on another James Patterson book, The 5th Horseman while listening to my fav songs on my playlist. Feeling a lil’ bit envy eh? There is more…:p .

I’m also enjoying the kuih cempedak I bought during lunch time. I happened to passed-by a stall when my sensitive nose caught the aromatic smell of the kuih cempedak. Arrgh..can’t help it, got to buy some..I lurrvee them so much! Now my minum petang is almost perfect…all I need is a mug of hot Nescafe to go with my cold kuih cempedak. * A slap on the forehead* Aiseyman, no coffee pulak…a mug of Milo will do la! My other colleagues are also doing their own activity. * wink*

In case you’re wondering how my boss react to this? Hehe…he’s not around all the time. He doesn’t know. He can’t see either. He’s in KL… That’s what I like about my job, no boss bossing around, no office politic.
